Summary of Responsibilities: 
Reporting to the Castello Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:              
•	Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service 
•	To provide knowledgeable, personalized, and safe food and beverage experiences to our guests.
•	Contribute to achieving loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing, warm, personal service.
•	Assist servers with clearing and delivering of guest’s meals.
•	Facilitating guest service through delivery of bread to tables after initial order, delivery of food to tables.
•	Ensure par stock of prep completed each day to have necessary tools to conduct service, ie. Napkins, cutlery, glassware.
•	Acting as concierge for all our guests.
•	Maintain behaviours consistent with professionalism, including a high standard of personal grooming, appearance, etiquette and conduct.
•	To have a complete understanding and adhere to company policies related to gratuities, fire, hygiene and safety policies.
•	Flip tablecloths and re set with standard table settings.
•	Carry out other responsible duties as required.
•	Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
•	High School diploma
•	Previous experience in a restaurant or in a high volume lounge environment.
•	Proven track record for reliability, hardworking and energetic.
•	A passion for wine and food is a must!
•	Must be a team player.
•	Proven exceptional guest service experience with sincere desire to exceed guest expectations.
 
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):         
•	Constant standing and walking throughout shift 
•	Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs 
•	Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling 
•	Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps 
 
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
