Scope & General Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Sous Chef and the general direction of the Executive Chef, the Breakfast Cook is Responsible for smooth delivery of meals to dining guests, keeping food quality and consistency in line with business and within the Alberta Food Safety and Royal Canadian Lodge standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities for the Breakfast Cook include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assures adherence to hotel standards of food quality, preparation, and recipes.

· Sets up the line.

· Prepares each item on menus (breakfast, lunch, dessert, and room service) according to the hotels’ recipes.

· Follow proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices always.

· Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team to ensure a smooth food service operation is achieved.

· High level of guest satisfaction with food presentation and quality according to guest comment cards.
