Scope

To exceed guests' expectations while providing them with a memorable dining experience in our Primrose restaurant. This position is to perfect skills and knowledge of our dining room, and to learn and perform some server duties.

Duties & Responsibilities
Greet guests upon entry, assign tables, and collect any pertinent information
Support team members with service, buffet and table maintenance, and table re-setting
Expedite food orders
Perform service bar duties
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift
Be prepared to answer questions regarding Primrose menus, hotel facilities, and the Bow Valley area
Follow Health & Safety program and procedures
Other related duties as assigned
Physical Demands
Requires significant standing and walking
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 11 pounds / 5 kg
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 pounds / 10 kg
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
Alberta ProServe Certification
Able to meet the physical demands of the position
Available to work a flexible schedule
Customer service oriented
Able to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Comfortable using a POS machine and handling cash
