The historical Deer Lodge in Lake Louise, AB is looking to hire a F & B Supervisor.

Primary function:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of all our food and beverage outlets. Food and Beverage Supervisor is to maintain high-quality guest experiences and ensure the smooth functioning of all our dining establishments. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will lead a team of enthusiastic professionals, striving to deliver exceptional service and upholding our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.

Job Description:

Oversee and manage daily food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquet events, and room service, to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Lead, train, and mentor the food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to exceed guest expectations and resolve any issues with tact and diplomacy.
Conduct regular inspections of dining areas and service stations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to set standards.
Assist in scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and optimizing resources to meet operational needs while maintaining budgetary goals.
Work closely with the restaurant and bar managers to develop and implement creative promotions and events to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain adequate stock levels of food and beverage supplies, ensuring smooth operations without interruptions.
Contribute to the development of new service procedures and training programs, aiming to elevate the overall dining experience and staff expertise.
Requirements/Experience:

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food and beverage industry is essential.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, culinary trends, and beverage offerings.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
