Location: We are seeking Baristas for our Banff Sunshine Village operation in Banff, Alberta.

Principal Function:

The Barista’s highest priorities will be to support overall profitability and guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service while maintaining Sodexo Live!’s standards for safety, cleanliness, sanitation. They will create and serve coffee-based beverages and will serve light snack items within a Quick Serve environment, typically within a restaurant, Convention Center or other Sodexo Live! events venue that features a coffee bar.

Essential Responsibilities:

Maximize customer satisfaction by preparing and serving coffee drinks, beverages and snack items in accordance with Sodexo Live! standards and guest expectations.
Contribute to goal of 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to teamwork and service.
Implement, support and maintain standards for workplace safety at all times.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
Must work well in a team environment.
Ability to follow written and oral direction.
Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location.
Other Requirements:

Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
