What will be your daily pursuit?:

We are looking for an energetic and organized Sales & Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support our Sales Managers and Group Event Planners with planning, coordinating, and executing events. No day is the same in this busy and fun environment working in Banff. This role reports to the Sales Manager.

What will you do in this job?:
Provide on-site assistance with groups and events including set up and coordinating groups and events, overseeing execution and tear down as required.
Support Sales Managers and Group Event Planners by preparing contracts, invoices, banquet event orders, quotes, booking venues, tickets, hotel rooms for group events.
Assist with data entry, input, and migration into booking systems.
Administrative tasks include updating group documents, menus, organizing materials, floorplans, and feedback for events and team members.
Assist with coordination of booking FAM trips and site inspections.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Energetic, enthusiastic, quick learner who can sell our company and various products.
A high level of customer service and experience in guest services
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to see multiple projects and tasks through to completion on a timely basis.
Comfortable speaking in public and to groups of various sizes
Ability to work a flexible schedule as timing for event support can vary.
Alberta Class 5 driving license or equivalent
Detail-oriented, with strong administration and organization skills
Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite of products in a Windows environment
Delphi, Salesforce & Adobe InDesign and/or graphic experience an asset but not required.
