What will be your daily pursuit?:
To assist the Operations Manager in the orchestration of the Operations Department, as it pertains
to the Lift, Equipment, Vehicles, Buildings and Grounds. Focusing on personnel and providing
guests with a world class experience. Maintain a safe work environment for all Employees and
Guests.

What will you do in this job?:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager on all aspects of building, equipment, and lift maintenance
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance procedures for the lift, equipment, buildings, and vehicles.
Identifying and implementing facility/equipment needs and improvements; coordinating with the Operations Manager the purchase of goods and services required.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of department budgets
Hiring, training and supervision of all front-line operations employees. Ensuring the team is clear on their goals and expectations
Initiating and formulating staff training and development programs.
Attend weekly leadership team meetings as required.
Contributes to the overall cleanliness of all Banff Gondola facilities particularly in the Operations Department areas.
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of superior safety procedures and customer service procedures.
Collaborate in the development and oversight of health and safety practices throughout the Banff Gondola
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of superior Standard Operating Procedures (e.g. safety, customer service, emergency procedures).
Ensuring adherence of operations to Pursuit, Banff Jasper and Viad policies and procedures.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Millwright journeyman status or equivalent required
Hiring, training and supervision of a diverse team in a dynamic fast paced environment
Lift operations
Lift maintenance
Equipment Maintenance

Computer knowledge and skills
Strong customer service skills
Cost control and budget management
Driver’s license
First aid training
