Full job description
Why Join Mountainscape?

At Mountainscape, we specialize in crafting unforgettable experiences — from corporate gatherings to custom weddings and premium event rentals — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rockies. We thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where collaboration is key, and client satisfaction is everything.

Every event is a new adventure, and no two days are ever the same — which is exactly how we like it. Our team comes together to make magic happen, whether it is a mountaintop wedding or a large-scale corporate celebration. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving challenges on the fly, working with passionate people, and celebrating big wins together, you will feel right at home here.

We are looking for an Event Operations Team Member to join our team!

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Event Operations Team— the crew that brings events to life behind the scenes. From hauling gear through mountain towns to transforming empty spaces into stunning venues, this role demands grit, flexibility, and a strong team spirit. You will need to be equally comfortable driving large trucks and working in the warehouse, as the job involves both preparing equipment and transporting it to events. A valid driver’s license and confidence behind the wheel — especially with trailers and tight spaces — are essential.

This is not a desk job. It is physical, fast-paced, and often unpredictable. If you thrive in high-energy environments, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in being the backbone of unforgettable events, this might be the role for you. It is hard work — but incredibly rewarding. You will help turn ideas into reality and create moments people will never forget.

What You will Be Doing

Prep & Pack: Organize and load event gear before it hits the road
Drive & Deliver: Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans to box trucks) to transport equipment to event sites
Setup & Teardown: Build events from the ground up — tents, tables, chairs, décor, dance floors, and more — and pack it all down when the party’s over
Warehouse Work: Clean, organize, and maintain inventory with precision and care
Interact with Customers: Represent our brand with professionalism and a helpful attitude when engaging with clients and vendors
What You Bring to the Team

Completion of secondary school (required)
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience in event production, warehouse operations, or logistics is an asset
Ability to lift heavy items, work at heights, and stay on your feet for long hours
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract and proof of insurability (minimum 3 years)
Confidence driving large vehicles in all seasons and at all hours, including early mornings and late nights
Team player mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the fly
Your Work Schedule

Events do not follow a 9-to-5 schedule. You can expect full-time hours through a mix of weekday shifts, weekends, early mornings, and late nights.

What You Get Back

Extended health & dental coverage — because your well-being matters
Staff discounts — enjoy discounts on rentals and services
Team events & celebrations — we work hard and celebrate harder
Tuition Reimbursement Program – to sharpen your skills and knowledge
Long service awards – because we celebrate commitment to our team
This position may include access to staff accommodation. If you are selected for an interview, we can discuss availability and whether this option would be helpful for you.
Work Environment

Operation of vehicles throughout the Bow Valley, from Calgary to Emerald Lake Lodge and beyond – in all seasons and at all hours, including early mornings and late nights
Work comfortably at heights and use ladders safely and effectively
Lift and handle loads of up to 25kg on a regular basis
Perform tasks in both warehouse and on-site event environments
Support weekend and evening events with flexibility and reliability
Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused team culture
Our Commitment to Equality

Mountainscape is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace. We welcome and encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, religious beliefs, gender identity or expression, age, physical or mental disability, marital or family status, source of income, or sexual orientation. We believe a diverse team strengthens our ability to create exceptional experiences for our clients.

Join Us!

At Mountainscape, every day is an opportunity to make magic — for our clients and for each other. If you are passionate about events and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment, we cannot wait to meet you.
