SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time, seasonal position of Adventure Hub Delivery Driver & Rentals Technician to join our team for the 23/24 winter season.

Reporting to the Adventure Hub Rentals Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for the timely delivery of equipment and lift tickets to all SkiBig3 partners, including hotels, tune shop and resorts, and any other deliveries as required. The position will also help in the Adventure Hub retail & rentals department where necessary.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up equipment, ski tickets and any other goods as needed to local hotels and the three ski resorts associated with SkiBig3.
Any other deliveries as required.
Greet customers and determine their needs.
Providing retail, rental and snow school product information.
Selling SkiBig3 and Resort specific products including snow school, lift tickets, season passes and general retail merchandise.
Maintaining rental equipment and setting aside for tuning when required.
General presentation of the Adventure Hub including; folding, restocking, dusting, sweeping, and general tidying as required.
Processing all aspects of a rental transaction (liability forms, fitting of equipment and payment)
Accurately processing end of day procedures
Communicate and work effectively with all ski areas and staff.
Work effectively within the SkiBig3 team.
Qualifications & Skills:

Must be able to work independently and organize own delivery routes
Must be able to lift and carry numerous sets of equipment and heavy boxes
Knowledge of retail operating systems is an asset
Knowledge of ski and snowboard rentals is an asset
Organized, efficient, responsible and mature
High energy, friendly and outgoing with excellent guest service skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
Ability to troubleshoot guest problems, minor network and printer issues
Good working knowledge of computers, data management systems and applications
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Experience in a sales focused environment
Other Requirements:

A valid Alberta Driver’s license with a “clean” driving record of 3 years or more.
All drivers will need to provide a Driver’s Claims Experience letter. A Driver’s Claims Experience would be supplied by the driver’s current insurer in the form of a formal letter that shows the driver’s insurance claims & infringement history.
Ability to work legally in Canada required.
