What can you expect ?

The Security Foreperson is in a highly visible role, providing an outstanding experience via the protection and surveillance of guests, staff, and the resort premises. Trained to observe, record, and report atypical interactions with guests, staff, contractors, and visitors to Banff National Park, and to accurately respond to situations where attention to detail and reporting requirements may be increased. The Security Foreperson reports to the Security Supervisory team, acting as a designate supervisor when the Supervisory team is offsite, and works closely with all departments at the Resort.

Providing outstanding experiential guest service
Providing safekeeping to guests and staff at any location within the Sunshine Village leasehold
Coordinating after-hours emergency response
Enforcing Sunshine Policies and Procedures, Banff National Park and other Provincial regulations
Crowd control in densely populated guest areas
Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities
And you have:
Passion for providing excellent experiential guest service
Physically fit, reliable to work full time in an outdoor environment as part of a regular schedule team
Excellent judgment, empathy and communication skills suitable to deescalate situations
Willingness to work a variety of shifts (Including weekends and Holidays)
Possess integrity and have good attention to detail in all aspects of the role
Attend and complete specific training programs, i.e. ProServe, ProTect, and Alberta Basic Security Training
Must be 21 years of age or older with clean driving record
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Teams, Excel, Sharepoint).
Ski and/or Snowboarding experience considered an asset
