SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time position of Reservations Supervisor to join our team. The position is seasonal, with the potential to become year-round, full-time, pending a successful review.

Summary Description:

The primary function of this position is to support the Reservations Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department, assisting with reservations sales and system management. This role will also support 3rd party suppliers and other SkiBig3 departments with fulfillment including Sales and Snow School.

Organizational Relationships:

SkiBig3 Departments, Banff / Lake Louise / Canmore hotels and product suppliers, Banff Sunshine / Lake Louise Ski Resort / Mt Norquay.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Assisting the Reservations Manager with training seasonal team members
Providing support to the reservations team, including troubleshooting and problem solving in relation to guest enquiries or concerns via call or chat.
Supporting any product/experience fulfillment needs
Monitoring accommodation inventory – liaising with hotels to ensure accuracy.
Monitoring last-minute reservations and supplier details
Loading products, rates and promotions in reservation system
Required skills and Experience:

Experience in Travel/Tourism industry sales, experience in an inbound call center environment an asset.
Strong team contributor with exceptional communication skills and phone manner
Strong leadership skills; ability to help empower and motivate a confident and capable team.
Ability to respond well in a high volume, multi-tasked environment
Pro-active during quieter times, with a desire to improve processes and make suggestions to improve efficiency
Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to independently manage own day/priorities
Strong ability to learn and understand systems, ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
Previous administrative experience required, displaying the highest level of attention to detail
Extensive local knowledge including Banff Lake Louise ski resorts and Bow Valley Hotels is desirable
