Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager for our vibrant Banff Social venue. This leadership role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, nightlife, and creating memorable guest experiences. Duties

Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of venue operations, including staff management, guest services, and event execution
Lead and supervise team members during shifts, ensuring high standards of customer service and safety are maintained at all times
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to foster a motivated and efficient team environment
Oversee upscale dining room, including event planning, setup, execution, and post-event cleanup to ensure seamless experiences for guests
Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure every visitor receives exceptional hospitality and memorable service
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, prepare reports on sales and operational activities, and ensure compliance with company policies
Support marketing efforts by promoting upcoming events and specials to maximize attendance and revenue
Experience

Proven management experience in a upscale hospitality environment with managerial responsibilities
Strong background in events management, including planning, coordination, and execution of social gatherings or parties
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a fast-paced setting
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences in resort or nightlife venues
Experience with shift management, cash handling, report writing, and supervising teams is essential
Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within restaurant or hospitality sectors is highly desirable
Knowledge of the nightlife industry’s best practices for safety, guest engagement, and event promotion
