As Discover Banff Tours newest Office Manager / HR Administrator, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the organization supporting everything from process to people.

As the Office Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Office Management: Manage inventory and supplies, receive deliveries, general administration support for leadership
Recruitment: Develop job postings, monitor, and post all open roles; screen candidates; conduct interviews and conduct reference checks
Onboarding and Offboarding: Ensuring all details are taken care of ahead of new team members starting on their first day; supporting the transition of team members leaving the organization
Performance Management: Maintain performance management system, support leaders in providing solid feedback to their team members
Payroll Administration: Update, maintain and run on a semi-monthly basis, payroll for 50+ team members
Benefits Administration: Update, run audits, terminate benefits for team members, answer basic questions and help team members to submit claims
Health & Safety: Promote and maintain health and safety initiatives throughout the organization, develop strategies that focus on psychological safety and build a culture that isn’t afraid to voice their opinions or ask tough questions
The right candidate will demonstrate on their resume:

2+ years of experience in office management or related field
Confident understanding of payroll processes
Understanding and exposure to benefits and benefits administration would be considered an asset
Driver’s licence and regular access to a car is a must have
Outstanding written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Google Suite and Zoom

Ability to work an 8:30-5pm schedule. It may include evenings and weekends, especially during events
