This role requires an individual who can effectively manage performance while fostering a respectful and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will lead with clarity and consistency, ensuring that expectations are well-defined, and standards are upheld at all times. They will promote a culture where team members are supported, communication is direct and professional, and accountability is maintained without reliance on fear-based management. What You Are Responsible For Lead and oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards. Supervise and support all housekeeping roles (Room Attendants, Housepersons and Public Areas) Control daily operations, room readiness, and service execution through inspections and SOP adherence Maintain brand standards through audits, training, and corrective action Plan staffing, scheduling, and labour allocation based on occupancy and operational needs Monitor performance using productivity, quality scores, and guest feedback, act on gaps quickly Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and Management to ensure smooth operations Resolve guest concerns promptly and uphold service expectations Train, coach, and evaluate team performance while fostering accountability and growth Manage inventory, and ordering of supplies and amenities Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies Maintain and improve SOPs, checklists, and operational processes Support sustainability and efficiency initiatives without compromising standards Actively support day-to-day housekeeping operations when needed, stepping in to assist the team and ensure service standards and timelines are consistently met What You Bring Experience leading housekeeping operations in a high-standard or luxury environment Strong working knowledge of inspections, quality control, and housekeeping systems (MEWS experience is an asset) A disciplined, detail-focused approach to managing operations Confidence in enforcing standards and making decisions within defined guidelines Ability to interpret performance data and act on it effectively A consistent, rules-based approach to leadership Additional Experience (Preferred) Experience managing large teams Exposure to efficiency or sustainability initiatives Strength in training others on technical standards and procedures Background in resort or multi-outlet environments Your Working Style You are structured, methodical, and consistent in your approach. You rely on clearly defined processes and expectations, ensuring that work is executed accurately and efficiently. You lead with professionalism and fairness, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to your team.
