VANTAGE COMMUNITY SERVICES FOSTER CARE PROGRAM

WHO:

You are – Caring people from a range of diverse backgrounds, who have support to offer children and youth who are in need of a safe, healthy home.
People who are open to learning skills that includes goal planning with a trauma-informed lens.
We are – a team of professionals eager to guide you through the process and to support all of your foster care experiences.
WHAT:

Provide foster care that helps children and youth to find belonging in a happy and healthy home.
A foster care experience working with our team to provide well-rounded, compassionate care.
Meeting the daily needs of children and encouraging healthy relationships.
Attending training to learn and stay current with best parenting practices.
Experiencing the enrichment that comes from helping children in need.
Receiving non-taxable remuneration
WHEN:

As soon as requirements are met. These requirements include: an interview, assessment and documentation to ensure there is a good fit.
Foster placements may be of a short or long-term duration depending on the situation.
