The Role:

As an In Room Dining Server, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless, personalized dining experience for our In-house guests in the privacy and comfort of their guest room. You will deliver a genuine, refined, personalized dining experience while upholding the highest standards of guest service to create memorable moments for our guests. You are responsible for presenting food and beverage offerings and delivering service that reflects the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Job duties:

Delivery elevated In-Room Dining service that reflects service excellence across all shifts, including early mornings, evenings and late-night shifts.
Provide food and beverage service, including alcoholic beverages, within guest rooms while maintaining discretion and respect for guest privacy.
Accurately deliver food, beverage and amenity orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional and detail-oriented manner.
Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
Set up in-room dining experiences according to type of event and service standards, including tray service, table service, and private in-room functions for up to 15 guests
Cashiering; taking guest orders, processing payments, organizing the daily deliveries, assisting the Manager on Duty with service flow
Demonstrate strong menu and beverage knowledge, answering quest inquiries and providing recommendations.
Accurately take guest orders, present checks and process payments.
Communicate effectively with the culinary team regarding order accuracy, wait times, dietary requests, re-fires, and product availability.
Welcome and engage guests in accordance with company service standards, anticipate and respond to guest needs, and provide inclusive, respectful service to all guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of In-Room Dining service areas, equipment, china, glassware, and supplies; complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with guests and colleagues at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

Previous experience in fine dining, luxury hotel service, or in-room dining is preferred.
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
Can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Knowledge of wine and cocktail offerings is considered an asset.
Proactive, energic and self-directed professional with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Must be Health & Safety conscious and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
POS knowledge is an asset.
Must have ProServe certification.
Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, carry, push or pull trays carts and equipment up to 40+lbs
Requires constant standing and walking throughout the shift (up to 8 hours per shift).
Must be able to bend, reach, and move stock and merchandise.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business levels.
