SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Adventure Hub Associate to join our Banff and Canmore Adventure Hub Teams for the 26-27 winter season.

Reporting to Adventure Hub Supervisors, the primary goal of this role will be to ensure that guest satisfaction is met in our Banff and Canmore hub locations, working within our rentals and guest services operations. This person will demonstrate outstanding customer service, be competent using a variety of software & POS systems, whilst also complying with Health and Safety regulations.

Position Details:

Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal
Season Dates: September 2026 through end of April 2027
Location: Banff & Canmore, AB
Wage: $18.50 + $1 per hour retention bonus paid upon successful contract completion
Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week

Organizational Relationships:

This position is part of the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub team and may be based in either the Banff or Canmore hub location. The role works closely with all SkiBig3 departments, resort partners including Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay, as well as local hotels and tourism partners throughout Banff, Lake Louise, and Canmore.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

General presentation of the entire Adventure Hub (retail & rental section) including; folding, restocking, dusting, sweeping, and general tidying as required
Greeting customers and determine their needs
Assisting customers with SkiBig3 and resort-specific products including snow school, lift tickets, season passes, rental equipment and retail merchandise
Assisting customers with our partner passes, Mountain Collective and IKON
Supporting customers through strong rental and retail product knowledge
Troubleshooting any issues or concerns with guest’s ski area products or reservation systems
Maintaining rental equipment and setting aside for tuning when required
Delivery driver for the Adventure Hub when required (if insurance qualifications are met). This includes dropping off and picking up equipment, tickets, and any other goods as required
Accurately processing end of day procedures
Tuning equipment in house (wax, edges, p-tex) when time permits
Communicate and work effectively with all ski areas, staff, and both hub locations
Provide support where necessary
Providing guests with reservation information when required
Qualifications & Skills:

Friendly, outgoing, excellent guest service skills
Time management skills, ability to independently manage own time and show initiative
Local knowledge including that of Banff and Lake Louise ski resorts is considered an asset
Exceptional communication skills and phone manner
Demonstrated computer skills - knowledge of retail operating systems is an asset
Organized, efficient, responsible and mature
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to troubleshoot guest problems
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Previous retail experience is an asset
Valid Canadian driver's license with a clean 3-year record is an asset
Other Requirements:

Candidate must reside in the Bow Valley
