Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Support to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest experiences. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making it essential for maintaining the high standards of service that our establishment is known for.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Utilize the POS system to manage guest seating and track reservations effectively.
Skills

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and guest inquiries professionally.
Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food service operations and guest services principles.
Proficiency in using POS systems to facilitate efficient service.
A customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while assisting guests effectively.
