Our Winter Groundskeepers love being outdoors in all weathers, ensuring our properties are safe and clear from snow and ice, while maintaining a welcoming appearance for guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove snow and ice from all walkways and driveways.
Regularly check outdoor areas to find potential hazards and monitor snow conditions.
Salt and grit outdoor areas to keep them safe for guests and staff.
Pick up and remove litter and garbage from outside areas like corridors, courtyards, and sidewalks.
Ensure outdoor areas and entrances are safe and well-maintained.
Be prepared for duties to change with the seasons.
Maintain the safety and upkeep of guest areas in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the properties.
Work safely by following health and safety rules, and report any injuries or hazards right away.
Additional duties as assigned to meet guest and business needs.
Skills and Experience:
This is a seasonal job for the winter months, with the chance to extend for the right person.
You must have an Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or an International equivalent.
Experience driving in snowy conditions is helpful.
You need to be physically fit, as this job involves bending, lifting, and continuous snow and ice removal.
Be a self-starter who can work with little supervision.
Show energy and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Pay attention to detail and take pride in your work area.
Be flexible to work on weekends and holidays when needed
