Full job description
At Pursuit, we offer more than just a place to visit, we create opportunities for our guests to truly connect with iconic destinations. Our experiences include world-class attractions and distinctive lodges, all designed to highlight the unique beauty of each location. Beyond that, we offer thoughtfully crafted restaurants, retail, and transportation services that help our guests immerse themselves fully in the experience. What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.

This Retail Supervisor role operates within a high-volume, multi-functional environment where retail operations and attraction bookings are managed side-by-side each day. In addition to leading the retail floor, this position supports the daily flow of guest bookings, ticketing inquiries, and coordination between retail and attractions teams — ensuring a seamless guest journey from arrival to adventure.

Supporting two core locations, and occasionally two additional nearby sites, this role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments, brings positive energy to their team, and enjoys solving problems in real time. Success in this role comes from strong communication, curiosity, and the ability to translate daily priorities into clear action plans that keep both guests and teams feeling supported.

This is a development-focused leadership role for someone passionate about hospitality, team engagement, and growing their operational skillset while making a visible impact across multiple guest touchpoints.

Your daily pursuit is to lead with energy, curiosity, and care — ensuring smooth retail and booking operations while inspiring your team to deliver warm, memorable guest experiences.

This role supports both Retail and Pursuit Adventure Centre (PAC) operations, requiring an ability to balance product, bookings, and people with confidence and clarity. You will work primarily between the Elk & Avenue Hotel location and the Cave & Basin Gift Shop, traveling between sites using a work vehicle and partnering closely with store leadership on daily banking and operational priorities.
