Job Description

As a Room Attendant, you bring the Rimrock’s signature standards of care to life through meticulous, thoughtful, and high-quality room presentation. You ensure every guest enters a space that feels immaculate, welcoming, and prepared with precision. This role is rooted in consistency, accuracy, quiet excellence and you find satisfaction in doing things the right way, every time.

This role is about steady, focused work, delivered with care. You thrive in structure, value routine, and excel in environments where quality and attention to detail matter above all.

Start Date: May/June 2026
Contract Type: Seasonal and Full-Time available
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Room Presentation & Cleaning

Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring all surfaces, linens, and amenities reflect Rimrock’s elevated expectations.
Replenish towels, linens, guest supplies, and amenities in alignment with hotel brand guidelines.
Perform turn-down service and deliver personalized touches when required.
Ensure all tasks are completed with consistency, care, and accuracy.
Safety, Maintenance & Reporting

Report damages, repairs, maintenance needs, or unusual guest room conditions promptly to supervisors.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sustainability procedures, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Respect guest privacy and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Operational Excellence

Complete daily task assignments methodically, ensuring rooms are cleaned within expected timeframes and to quality standards.
Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in clean, organized condition.
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth, efficient housekeeping operations.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred, but structured training is provided.
Strong focus on detail, consistency, and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a steady, task-oriented environment.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to follow established procedures and brand standards precisely.
Comfortable working quietly, diligently, and methodically.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Bonus If You Bring

Experience in a luxury or high-volume hotel environment.
Familiarity with hotel cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and room standards.
A natural preference for precise, structured work and high-quality output.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Lifting, carrying, or moving items such as linens, amenities, and cleaning equipment (up to 30lbs).
Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain focus and consistency during routine, structured work.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
