Position Overview

The Kenrick Hotel is seeking a polished, service-driven Concierge Assistant to provide a seamless luxury experience for every guest. This hybrid role combines the warm, welcoming presence of a Bellman with the personalized, high-touch service of a Concierge. The ideal candidate anticipates guest needs, assists with arrivals and departures, and supports the Front Desk in delivering refined, exceptional service from check-in to check-out.

The Concierge Assistant is a key part of the guest experience, ensuring that every interaction is smooth, elegant, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanour and assist with luggage handling
Escort guests to their rooms and provide orientation of hotel amenities
Support Front Desk operations during arrivals, departures, and peak periods
Assist with luggage handling and oversee arrival and departure services as needed
Offer concierge services including transportation coordination, dining reservations, and local experience recommendations
Assist with guest requests and bespoke arrangements to enhance each stay
Maintain a polished, organized, and inviting lobby and entrance area
Anticipate guest preferences and proactively address needs
Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Management
Uphold The Kenrick Hotel’s standards of luxury, discretion, and professionalism
Resolve guest concerns with courtesy and efficiency
Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in luxury hospitality, concierge services, or bellman/doorperson roles preferred
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance with impeccable grooming standards
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
Physically able to assist with luggage and remain on feet for extended periods
High level of discretion, attention to detail, and guest-focused mindset
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of the local area and luxury offerings is highly desirable
Additional language skills are a plus
