Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000
Work Setting: Restaurant, Convention centre, Hotel, Lounge, Formal dining room, Resort
Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Implement operational procedures, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, reconciliation and related forms, Control inventory, Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices, Respond to customer complaints, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, Develop, implement and analyze budgets, Participate in marketing plans and implementation, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, Recruit and hire staff, Train staff, Conduct performance reviews, Supervise staff, Cost products and services, Customer service oriented

Other Information:Work Location- 222 Lynx Street, Banff, AB. At least 3 year supervisory experience in restaurant business will be an asset. Any of Bookkeeping or Accounting experience will be an asset.
