Full job description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to liaise between operational and technical resources to oversee application direction and use, develop and maintain strong reporting deliverables, and lead the improvement of business workflows to meet company objectives. The scope of the role focuses on support for application end-user problem resolution, improvements and troubleshooting while simultaneously performing business analysis activities to derive solutions from data extraction.

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Business Analyst will be a key member of the organization and will assist in the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and recommend improvements to business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to support business objectives and enhance decision-making
Ensure that data assets are complete, accurate, and reliable.
Responsible for the management of security and access management
Collaborate with IT to design, configure, and implement new systems or system enhancements
Support the deployment of new systems or enhancements, including coordinating with end-users
Offer detailed guidance to end-users on software issues, functionality, and troubleshooting
Requirements
Understanding of business processes, financial metrics, and industry-specific requirements
Familiarity with system design methodologies, databases, and reporting tools
Excellent aptitude for data collection, analysis and reporting
Process-oriented with an attention to detail and information quality
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholders
SQL knowledge to query databases in order to complete data analysis
