We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail & Rental Manager to oversee the daily operations of Ultimate Sports. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing inventory, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially astute, and passionate about delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day retail and rental operations
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for rentals, returns, merchandising, and sales.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise rental agents, retail associates, and supervisors.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and guest focused work environment.
Oversee purchasing, receiving, merchandising, and stock levels for both retail and rental operations.
Develop and manage seasonal buying plans based on sales trends, inventory levels, guest demand, and company objectives.
Research, evaluate, and select vendors to ensure high-quality, on-brand product offerings.
Maintain strong relationships with reps and distributors, staying informed about new products, market trends, and promotional opportunities.
Ensure rental equipment is maintained, repaired, and rotated appropriately to meet operational quality standards.
Manage store budgets, forecasting, and financial performance, including revenue targets and expense control.
Ensure merchandising standards are executed consistently and effectively.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3 years of retail &/or rental experience
Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
Lead a team in a fast-pace environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize between tasks.
Well versed in current industry trends and product offerings related to mountain and snow sports equipment and apparel.
Previous experience with rental and point of sale software is an asset.
