What will you do in this job?:
Receive Paid training to qualify as a Licenced Boat Captain and Tour Guide!
Operate tour boats with the safety of all passengers as the primary focus, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations Master Limited <60 Ton (paid training provided)
Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
Assist as needed to ensure all visitors to Lake Minnewanka have the very best possible guest experience
Maintain trip and mechanical logs
Sustain a safe and clean environment in all areas controlled by Minnewanka Lake
The starting wage is $15 per hour, increasing to $17 per hour after successfully completing the Transportation Canada certification. This position is eligible for a retention bonus of $0.50 for every regular hour worked
NOTE: Transport Canada regulations state that In Canada only Canadian or Permanent resident of Canada can work on Canadian vessels. TC form #82-0701
