A & W Restaurant Food Service Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $13.20 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Banff / Canmore, Alberta (2 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession
Supervisory Experience: Food and beverage servers, Food service counter attendants and food preparers
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Essential Skills: Reading text, Communication, Working with others, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Continuous learning


Other Information:Previous experience in food preparation or service are required.
