Powder Crew
Description
Custodians in the Powder Crew team provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces including washrooms as well as answering guest queries. They are also tasked with Snow removal from the front entrances and walkways to ensure safe access for our guests. This is a physical position requiring manual labour, lifting, and carrying.
Essential Functions
Provide excellent guest service
Maintain overall cleanliness public spaces including washrooms in the village
Responsible for garbage, recycling removal throughout the Village indoor and outdoor bins
Shoveling snow & ice removal at our entrances and walkways to ensure a safe experience for our guests.
Helping to assist with outdoor beer garden set ups and tear downs
Keep glass clean at entrances
Weekly deep cleaning of the washrooms and entrances including replenishing all air fresheners
Able to answer questions about the mountain and operations
Other duties as assigned
Experience/Requirements
Passion for providing outstanding guest service
Previous cleaning experience is an asset
Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
Energetic, self-motivated, and positive attitude
Excellent time management, problem, solving and teamwork skills
Ability to lift (10kg.), pull & push heavy loads & be exposed to extreme temperatures


This position includes a multi-area ski pass to Sunshine Village & other resorts, a staff event calendar for experiencing the Rockies, Access to available Staff accommodation and subsidized transportation from Banff and Canmore to Sunshine.
