Banff Caribou Properties (BCP) is seeking an experienced and visionary Corporate Chef to oversee the culinary development and evolution of our restaurant portfolio.

BCP operates a diverse collection of hotels, restaurants, spas, and tourism experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culinary direction of multiple dining concepts while helping define the future of food and beverage across one of Canada's premier hospitality organizations.

What You'll Do

Drive Culinary Innovation

Work closely with executive management, F&B Directors and other operational leaders, to develop and enhance culinary programs for new and existing F&B concepts

Elevate Culinary Standards

Establish and maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, food quality, presentation, and consistency across all corporate dining facilities. Implement standardized recipes and quality assurance protocols.

Lead and Inspire Teams

Lead and mentor culinary teams across multiple locations, including executive chefs, kitchen managers and sous chefs. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to enhance culinary skills and promote a culture of succession within a positive work environment.

Partner with Suppliers

Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to procure high-quality and unique ingredients, kitchen equipment, and supplies. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal support departments and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.

Champion Operational Excellence

Support efficient food and kitchen labor costs effectively by collaborating with the culinary and operations teams to optimize menu offerings, portion controls, and staffing levels.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a culinary leader who combines creativity with strong business acumen.
Proven experience as a Corporate Chef, Executive Chef, or culinary leader in a similar capacity.
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, cuisine styles, and dietary requirements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire culinary teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on food quality, safety, consistency, and presentation.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, inventory management, and food cost controls.
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and operational initiatives simultaneously.
Certification from a recognized culinary institution or professional association is preferred.
Demonstrated success in developing, launching, and evolving innovative restaurant concepts.
