Nu Edge Construction is currently hiring a Side Hoe Operator Rural Division. This role would be joining Nu Edge Construction Ltd.’s workforce as a valuable colleague!

Details:

● Duration: Seasonal Position

● Shift: Weekends as required. Overtime as required.

● Location: Alberta

What you do:

● Trenching – Water & Sewer

● Backfilling, sloping, clearing, rough grading and stripping

● Load trucks and lower materials into trenches

● Experience working around buried utilities

● Experience reading locates and grades

● Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment

● Comply with Health and Safety Codes and Legislation

● Use all devices and PPE designated and provided for protection required under the OHS Code

What background and skills qualify you:

● Excavator: 3 Years (Required)

● Ground Disturbance (Required)

● CSTS (Required)

Key skills that make you a great fit:

● Strong mechanical aptitude

● You have a positive attitude and are eager to learn

● You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment

● Able to perform physically demanding work that may include carrying heavy objects, and using various equipment

● Labor intensive work at times

● Must be able to work with heavy machinery

● Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisor
