Position Overview

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of a dynamic team of four. The ideal candidate will have common knowledge of resolving issues within a hotel environment. We are looking for someone who is driven, motivated, and looking to be mentored and coached, while working with some of the best in the industry.


Salary: $20.00 per hour

Shifts: 8-hour, full-time/permanent

Staff Housing: Private single staff accommodation available at $10 per day

Location: Baker Creak, Lake Louise


Key Responsibilities


Responsible for maintaining the landscaping of a 35-unit resort property in a remote location. Work closely with all departments to ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently. Take a proactive approach to preventative maintenance to ensure the grounds are always at the highest standard.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks as assigned by management.


Skills and Experience

Proven experience working within a maintenance environment.
Landscaping and lawncare is an asset.
Ability to work within a small team under minimal supervision.
Hotel industry is an asset.

Requirements

Must be able to carry, lift and pull heavy loads.
Valid drivers’ licence and clean abstract.
