Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
Support food service operations by helping with basic food prep and plating when needed
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold health standards
Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow during busy hours
Qualifications

Prior experience in cooking, restaurant work, or food service is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry standards is a plus
