The Facility Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring guest and member satisfaction by maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, overseeing facility operations, and ensuring all equipment and amenities are functioning at peak performance. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the aquatic, fitness and spa facility, promotes a safe and welcoming environment, and assists in managing labor and operating expenses while upholding the highest standards of service excellence.

Starting Rate: $24.95 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.08

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Facility Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about facility excellence, colleague development, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury spa environment.

Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to both internal and external guests.
Support the daily operations of the spa, aquatic and fitness facilities, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are consistently met.
Assist with the implementation and delivery of colleague training programs related to facility operations and spa standards.
Lead daily line-ups and participate in departmental meetings, communicating operational priorities and updates effectively.
Support the execution of Facility Operations goals and departmental initiatives.
Assist in supervising, coaching, training, and motivating facility operations colleagues.
Participate in recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding new colleagues.
Assist with scheduling facility colleagues to ensure operational coverage and service excellence.
Participate in colleague performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development support.
Conduct routine inspections and walkthroughs throughout the facility to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, functionality, and presentation.
Support the oversight of Pool Operators and help ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for all aquatic facilities.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Previous Housekeeping experience an asset.
Previous Leadership experience required.
Pool Operation Certification an asset..
Standing and walking throughout shift – 70% of time
Sitting – 20% of time
Lifting/Carrying/Pulling – Up to 20lbs 10% of work time

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
