Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cook/Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, preparing delicious food items and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and providing correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination or spoilage
Experience

Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Demonstrated ability in food preparation and basic math skills for accurate transactions and portioning
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with cashiering, serving customers, and upselling menu items to increase sales performance
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous for understanding workflow and hygiene standards
