As the Taxes & Utilities Coordinator, you “Take care of Banff” by leading the processes and communication associated with tax and assessment and utility billing.

You ensure due diligence and integrity of information in the tax and utility modules, such as ensuring assessment and tax notices and quarterly utility billings are accurate and compliant with deadlines and questions and concerns are dealt with promptly.

You demonstrate confidence in your meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness of documentation, and your ability to effectively interact with customers, co-workers and citizens of Banff.

You have at least three years’ related work experience in a financial administration role (preferably in a municipal setting) with knowledge in Microsoft Office and financial tracking and reporting software solutions. Your performance in meeting deadlines, preparing and administering transactions and reporting cycles as well as your interactions and relationships are highly regarded.

You are eager to join a team of colleagues committed to sound municipal financial practices and outcomes.

This position will work on site during the training period and appropriate workspace and resources will be provided. This is a 35-hour/week position. Based on a match with the required skills and experience the salary starts at $64,500/year and is eligible for group health, dental and retirement benefits on completion of the required waiting periods.
