Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food preparation and safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during assigned shifts. Previous experience in restaurant management, food service, or hospitality is highly valued. The Shift Manager will play a key role in maintaining high-quality service, fostering team development, and upholding food safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
Lead and motivate team members, including training and evaluating staff performance.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards and customer expectations.
Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS system.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Handle operational issues such as scheduling conflicts or equipment malfunctions efficiently.
Requirements:

Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, including supervising teams and managing restaurant operations.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy shifts.
Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing high-quality service and products.
Greet customers warmly, whether on the phone or in person, and answer menu questions.
Address guest service complaints promptly and professionally, turning negative situations into positive ones.
Perform all the duties of the Customer Service Representatives and Delivery Drivers when needed.
Team Leadership:

Lead a team of 3 to 15 employees during your shift.
Promote a respectful, fun, and motivating team culture.
Exhibit integrity, honesty, and accountability in all situations.
