The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our Woodridge Ford Lincoln team in Calgary, AB!

About the role:

As a key member of our team, the Automotive Technician brings to life the ultimate service experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing all makes and models, electrical diagnostics, drivability, and A/C diagnostics. Ford specialty training would be an asset.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Complete repairs as per estimates completed in a timely fashion
Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly
Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain tools, equipment and shop
Diagnose problems using proper procedures
Clarify concerns with service advisor as required
Recommend additional repairs as required
Complete vehicle inspections (out-of-province and safety inspections)
Successful Candidates Possess:

Valid Journeyman Certification
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills
