The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient services, and supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth practice functioning. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in dental management software, and a solid understanding of dental and medical office procedures. Prior experience in dental or medical office environments is preferred, along with supervisory experience. The Dental Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows, managing patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Manage patient scheduling, billing, and insurance processing using Cleardent or similar dental management software Oversee front desk operations including greeting patients, answering inquiries, and coordinating appointments Supervise administrative staff and coordinate human resources functions such as onboarding and training Assist with budgeting, supply ordering, and inventory management to optimize office efficiency Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Support clinical staff by facilitating communication between patients and providers Handle patient complaints or concerns professionally to promote positive patient experiences Collaborate with other healthcare professionals if the practice is part of a larger medical facility or hospital Skills Proficiency in Clear dent or other dental office management software Strong knowledge of human resources practices within healthcare settings Experience in dental or medical office administration, including electronic medical records management Familiarity with medical terminology, billing procedures, and insurance processing Supervising experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external providers Knowledge of budgeting processes relevant to healthcare practices Experience working within hospital or acute care settings is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt to changing priorities This position offers an engaging opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a well-respected dental practice while utilizing their expertise in healthcare administration.
