Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you play a key role in upholding the Rimrock’s standards of cleanliness, consistency, and care across guest rooms and public areas. You provide steady, knowledgeable supervision on the floor, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, tasks are completed accurately, and standards are met, every time.

This role is rooted in structure, precision, and support. You thrive in well-defined environments, take pride in repeatable high-quality outcomes, and lead through expertise, patience, and attention to detail. Your presence brings calm, order, and accountability to the team.

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

Floor Supervision & Daily Operations

Supervise the Housekeeping team during assigned shifts.
Assign daily duties and ensure tasks are completed accurately, thoroughly, and within established timeframes.
Monitor workflow throughout the shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
Quality Assurance & Inspections

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service standards are met.
Identify deficiencies, provide corrective guidance, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
Ensure work is completed with care, accuracy, and attention to detail, leaving nothing to chance.
Training & Team Support

Provide structured training, coaching, and guidance to new and existing team members.
Reinforce standard operating procedures, cleaning methods, and safety protocols.
Act as a knowledgeable resource for the team, supporting skill development and consistent performance.
Foster a professional, respectful, and cooperative work environment.
Safety, Maintenance & Reporting

Identify, document, and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
Coordinate with the Engineering team to support timely resolution of repairs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Promote proper use, handling, and storage of equipment and chemicals.
Operational Excellence

Ensure established procedures, checklists, and workflows are followed precisely.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and shift documentation as required.
Support departmental goals by ensuring daily operations are completed efficiently and error-free.
Provide steady leadership during routine operations and unexpected situations alike.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Previous experience in housekeeping or hotels
Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, and quality expectations.
High attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and accuracy.
Ability to lead calmly in a structured, task-focused environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Bonus If You Bring

Experience in a luxury or high-volume hotel environment.
Previous experience supervising housekeeping teams.
Familiarity with inspection processes, reporting tools, and maintenance coordination.
A natural preference for structured work and quality-focused leadership.

Physical Demands

Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Lifting, carrying, or moving supplies and equipment (up to 30lbs).
Visual acuity required for detailed inspections and quality checks.
Ability to remain focused and attentive in a structured, routine-based environment.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
