Ski Banff Lake Louise Sunshine is currently seeking a full-time, year round Sales Manager with a focus on the North American market to join our Sales & Marketing team.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, Domestic / International, the primary goal of this role is to increase hotel partnership and ticket sales inclusive of FIT and MC&IT business. Working closely with lodging companies, Banff Lake Louise Tourism and SBLLS reservations department, the successful applicant will be responsible for implementing a ticket sales and marketing plan that drives tri-area lift ticket sales, SBLLS Snow School, rental sales and Season Pass programs.
Other duties include (but not limited to):
•	Increase partnership with local DMC’s
•	Create and manage track able partnerships in our key North American markets, inclusive of corporate partners, ski shops, ski shows, destination marketing and resort partners.
•	Create new in-market programs for key regions in the Eastern Canada Market
•	Align efforts with the primary markets of SBLLS / BLLT to sell lift tickets within the primary markets of North America
•	Work with the SBLLS creative team to ensure brand consistency across all programs
•	Work with the SBLLS PR Supervisor to generate new and traditional media leads
•	Solicit key partnership opportunities in market. These partnerships include magazines, radio stations, travel writers, travel journalists, print and TV as well as direct sales opportunities that may arise at these key events.
•	Event attendance and travel as agreed
•	Provide weekly sales reports that include Intel relevant industry news, competitor offers, market conditions, etc.
•	Solicit sponsorships opportunities in resort to ensure SBLLS is aligned with leading brands in relevant marketplace.
•	Assist in community / ski resort relationship building with SBLLS
Exceptional presentation skills and strong skiing / boarding ability would be an asset. This position is Banff based and the successful candidate will need to reside in the Bow Valley.
Qualifications:
•	Minimum 4 years Sales experience, preferably Tourism Industry.
•	Excellent communication skills – phone, email and face to face.
•	Experience working with client base and building new clients
•	Willingness to travel as required and interest in travelling
•	Experience and track record in independently managing own time
•	Good local knowledge of Banff / Lake Louise destination an asset
•	Outgoing self-starter with fresh ideas and a positive attitude
