With summer contracts ending we are currently seeking a couple for full time, permanent positions at Castle Mountain Chalets just outside Banff, Alberta.

Position Summary:

As part of our housekeeping team, you will clean and maintain cabins, common areas, and property in general. You will do laundry, folding and refill housekeeping products. You’ll also make wood bundles and deliver items to guests. While you would work in the same department, you would be paired up with different people throughout the week.

Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
Clean floors, rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture.
Washing walls and ceiling, move furniture, and turn mattress.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
Dusts and polishes metalwork.
Collects used linen for laundering.
Maintains housekeeping carts.
Removes trash collected by room attendants.
Deliver towels, cribs, and other items to the guest rooms on requests.
Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
Refill the stock of guest amenities and supplies
Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
Report missing / found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor.
Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.
Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy.

Prerequisites:

Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but we also have an exceptional training program so in lieu of experience a great attitude and attention to detail is considered a desirable asset.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
