Our Client Services Manager coordinates and oversees tradeshow production and provides on-site supervision at tradeshow venues for a variety of accounts. Reports Directly to the General Manager of Western Canada. GES is proud to be the official show services provider at the Fairmont Banff Springs, with our office located within the Fairmont Banff Springs Conference Centre. We offer; Competitive salary commensurate with experience Great culture Social events Paid Days off to Volunteer Personal Care Days Vacation Days Comprehensive Benefits Company Pension with a Company match Working for a Global, industry leader Flexible and hybrid options Responsibilities of the role: Responsible for the management of shows from planning stages through collection of invoices, including: collaborating with clients to gather information, help influence decision making and manage to customer expectations floor plan management writing work orders overseeing the creation, approval, and distribution of service kits working with internal departments to ensure work orders are completed overseeing the set-up and tear down of shows generating show management invoices and following up until collected Act as a liaison with show management, exhibitors, facility staff, production personnel, internal clients, and ancillary vendors about all services and build working relationships with all. Ensure all events are produced within established budget guidelines. Budget and fiscal responsibility on assigned events including accuracy, forecasting and management Fulfill roll in Show Planning process as required on assigned shows Manages to provide Key Performance Indicator’s Basic understanding of pricing models/estimation Basic understanding of GES Products and Services (On Peak, SHOWTECH, Spiro, etc.) Adhere to all Business Standard Operating Procedures Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position Requirements: (2) years’ experience in the tradeshow, convention, hospitality industry or similar experience preferred Ability to communicate and work collaboratively Capable of running new/modified processes Proficient in multisystem management Ability to foster customer relationships Majority of assigned events will be based in the Banff region, with occasional travel to Calgary or Edmonton for support on major shows General accounting and finance knowledge Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task Understands and works in lateral work streams Physical ability to walk large venues, including extensive on‑site movement during event setup, show hours, and teardown Must be able to walk tradeshow floors and large venues for extended periods as part of on‑site supervision Work Environment: This role is based out of our office located within the Fairmont Banff Springs, with daily work performed on‑site at the property and surrounding event venues Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities. Must be able to work under pressure Opportunity to work nights, weekends and at show site Position may require long hours for several months of the year.
