Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee daily operations, provide strategic direction and overall leadership within our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality and guest services. This role requires multitasking across various departments, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding guest experiences. The Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the entire lodge operation.
Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise department heads and staff.
Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Nakoda values and hospitality excellence.
Conduct regular management meetings and staff briefings.
Implement performance management systems and employee development programs.
Ensure clear communication and coordination across all departments.
Champion a culture of exceptional guest service and personalized hospitality.
Ensure the lodge consistently delivers high guest satisfaction scores.
Handle escalated guest concerns and oversee service recovery procedures.
Maintain service standards that reflect the lodge’s luxury boutique positioning.
Prepare and manage the lodge’s annual operating budget and capital plan.
Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability across all departments.
Analyze financial reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
Develop marketing initiatives that highlight the lodge’s unique cultural and natural setting.
Build relationships with tourism organizations, corporate clients, and travel partners.
Support promotional campaigns, partnerships, and community engagement.
Requirements

Education

Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience

Minimum 5-7 years senior leadership experience in hotel, resort, or lodge management.
Experience in boutique or luxury hospitality environments preferred.
Experience managing conference, banquet, or resort operations is highly desirable.
