Role Overview:

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) is a vital member of Absolute Homecare Solutions Inc., reporting directly to the Care Coordinator. The PCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Coordinator. This role includes medication assistance in accordance with company policy while upholding professional standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client.

Qualifications and Experience:Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Active registration with the Alberta HCA Directory is an asset, but not mandatory
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required
Experience:

Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is an asset
Familiarity with supporting seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus
Experience in providing companionship or emotional support is preferred
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
