Banff Avenue Brewing Company is a well established brewery and restaurant who has made a name for itself as a local favourite. Nestled in the beautiful Banff National Park, we are a high volume business with a focus on creating amazing guest experiences and offering quality food and beverage with exceptional craft beer. A part of the Bearhill brewing family, we current boast breweries in Banff, Jasper, Calgary and Edmonton.

We are currently looking for a Seasonal Floor Manager to join our growing team. Answering to the General Manager, you would be providing day to day leadership and guidance to a large team, assist in training and development of new staff and ensure prompt and friendly service to our guests. What you do:

- Assist in the day to day running of the restaurant including labor control, communication with FOH and BOH and assisting staff in the running of service

- Assist with liquor ordering, inventory control and counts

- Opening and closing restaurant duties, including cash handling

- Work closely with management team to ensure a safe, friendly and inclusive environment for staff and guests

- Assist with training and developing of new and existing staff

- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to increase profitability

- Ensure we continue to align with our company family values

- Be an ambassador for our venue and the craft beer industry

- Are willing and able to share your knowledge with staff and guests alike

What you need:

- 2-3 years previous Supervisory or management experience

- 5 years previous experience within the hospitality sector

- A passion for craft beer with a focus on fun

- A willingness to learn and work closely with others

- Be available for a range of shifts and able to lift up to 30lbs
