SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time, year-round position of Marketing Specialist to join our team. This position is a key part of the SkiBig3 Marketing team with a focus on supporting a wide cross-section of the marketing and communication needs for the organization.

The person in this position will be working with SkiBig3 internal departments: Marketing, Sales, Reservations, Admin, and the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub. Resort partners: Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, Mt Norquay, and other partners: Ikon Pass, Mountain Collective, Banff and Lake Louise Tourism.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Website Content

Work with the marketing team to develop a full-funnel approach to website content development
Oversee website content integration, updates and landing page development
Ensure brand consistency across the site
Establish and maintain SEO strategies
Copy writing and blog content creation, both in-house and with external content creators
CRM and Email marketing

Maintain a weekly email schedule aligned with marketing promotional deadlines
Draft and execute weekly newsletters and promotional emails within the CRM system - Ascent360
Draft and schedule seasonal pre-arrival emails
Reporting email performance
Collaborating with the Ascent360 account team to troubleshoot and implement best practices
Segment audiences for email communications
Collateral Development

Coordinate production of SkiBig3 perk awards (eg Trifecta Challenge and Cold award) and maintain inventory/distribution to the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub
Assist with the development of collateral materials and presentations in conjunction with Sales promotions, trade shows, and travel trade partners
Content Development

Assist with the develop of the content calendar
Write blogs, emails and website copy as required to support external communications and promotions
Develop presentations and awards submissions
Community Initiatives/ Events/ Communications

Oversee community activations including sales promotions at the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub, Banff & Lake Louise Tourism and SkiBig3 activations and events for external audiences
Support internal communication requirements – may include writing, posting, sharing and process documentation
Oversee community promotion of local FAMS and resort community days
Oversee community initiatives, outreach and partnerships as related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Participate in the SkiBig3 SEAC committee
Coordinate development and activation of prize packages for SkiBig3 contests
Collaborate with local partners to help execute events on mountain and in Banff (g. Banff and Lake Louise Tourism)
Assist with responding to questions and guest feedback as required
Experience Required:

Strong content writing skills, with the ability to develop brand consistent content for multiple channels
Experience working within CSS systems: WordPress and/or Tailwind
Proficiency in Canva (or equivalent) for designing email banners, presentations, and other visual content
Project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with SEO and CRM strategies and tools
Curiosity in marketing strategy and best practices
Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
Min. 3 years' of marketing experience (in tourism related organization preferred)
Passion for skiing or snowboarding preferred
