Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
Ensure that all orders are complete and presented in an appealing manner before serving to guests.
Assist servers by communicating with the kitchen staff regarding order statuses and special requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Utilize Open Table effectively to communicate guest seating when necessary.
Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
