Juniper Bistro is one of Banff’s top 3 dining experiences, serving locally inspired cuisine with a plant-forward point of view. Our sunny dining room and spacious patio overlook the mountains and Vermilion lakes. Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills. A natural coach, you’ll motivate the team to hit daily sales goals and give our guests a great experience. You’ll work alongside the Bistro General Manager to drive our plant-forward menu concept and to grow the business and demand. As the leader of front-of-house operations, the Bistro Assistant Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a positive and fun culture that focuses on service quality and exceptional guest experience. They provide hands-on leadership, training, and coaching to support the success of their team. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Supervisory experience in a busy upscale restaurant setting.
Passion for delivery exceptional guest experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of wine and cocktails.
Experience in coordinating banquets and events.
Financial management skills.
Flexible schedule - evenings, weekends and holidays as required
ProServe Certification.
WSET Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) is an asset
