Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM)

Assistant Kitchen Managers at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including the training, development, and performance management of kitchen employees. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests and team members, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They also demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, believe in championing a fun and safe work environment, and contribute to a thriving workplace culture. The Assistant Kitchen Manager leads the team during operations, focusing on serving perfect food every time and working with a sense of purpose and urgency.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
