The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team at Taza Park Volkswagen!

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

Complete repairs efficiently and accurately based on approved estimates
Perform road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance
Maintain a high standard of workmanship to support customer satisfaction
Diagnose mechanical issues using proper procedures and diagnostic tools
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding findings and required work
Identify and recommend additional repairs or maintenance when necessary
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications:

Journeyman Automotive Technician certification (required)
Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
